 W e all talk about the balance in good diet and nutrition but how often we could able to tread on that distinguish path. Well not very often and because of this the balance is lost for keeping a vigil on good diet and nutrition. How the failure is differentiated can be known after a brief analysis.

 Whenever we talk about eating healthy then we have to remember that it directly pointing toward getting the balance right. In practice this means having a variety of foods, basing meals on starchy foods and eating at least five portions of fruit and vegetable a day and that’s when we maintain the balance in good diet and nutrition.

 For keeping the balance between diet and nutrition you have to eat starchy foods, fruits and vegetables, meat, fish and alternative sources of protein, milk and dairy.

On an average we only eat two thirds of the fibre we should eat everyday. The healthiest choices are wholegrain foods, such as whole meal bread and brown rice for the good diet and nutrition.     

It is often asked that why lots of fruits and vegetable are are needed for the good diet and nutrition. Well, it has been proved by the studies that high intake of fruit and vegetable have a lower incidence of heart disease, some cancers and other health problems which people encounter.

Therefore for good diet and nutrition, fruit and vegetables provides body with vitamins, minerals, fibre and carbohydrate, mainly in the form of sugars. That is why the importance of fruits and vegetables are emphasized for good diet and nutrition for the body.

Meat, poultry, fish, eggs, nuts and pulses are all rich sources of protein. The body needs protein to grow and for body tissues to repair themselves. These foods also provide B vitamins, which help release the energy from food so it is available for the body to use. So, include these food items also in your diet.
