You are therefore getting two benefits by doing the cardio exercise. As usual for any exercise you need to follow certain rules, therefore, it applies to cardio exercises also.

 So, what are those rules which you need to follow and at the same time as you progressed with time when you can learn the basics of the cardio exercise you can draw your own rules. But what is the best thing is that before going out to chalk out your own rules please consult your gym instructor.

 When it comes to cardio exercise let me tell you that you can go for any activity which enthralls you.

So, that the effect of the cardio exercise would be maximum, but the word of cautious to all of you who are planning to go for the cardio exercise that while you are thinking about the exercise please make sure that you are actually doing the exercise.

Let’s start with the walking as it can be the best cardio exercise. It is the easiest and you can start doing it right away. So, don’t make any kind of excuses and start doing the walking. For walking you don’t even require any special equipment and you can do it anywhere.

Besides walking what you have to remember about the cardio exercises are that it requires continuous movement of body. So, there are other activities also which can play a crucial role for you to start the exercise. Main exercises or activities are cycling, swimming, running, aerobics, rowing and stair-climbing etc.

Start with 2 to 3 days of your chosen activity a week with a rest day between the workouts. It is the most important aspect about any exercise regimen you are following. You have to remember that exercise require body to get some rest also. Therefore, you have to make sure that you are doing that also.

While doing the cardio exercise make sure that you start your work out with 5 to 10 minutes of light cardio exercise. It would help your body to get in sync with the physical activities. This would gradually increase your heart rate also. Then increase your pace and intensity to slightly harder. Make sure that now you are out from comfortable zone.

You should maintain this pace as long as you are comfortably doing that. One thing is very important about exercise is that you should start doing it right at the place and you should not think too much about the place where you want to be for doing those exercise otherwise it would only delay the thing.

So, as told you above, go for swimming, walking, jogging or stair-climbing. End each workout with a cool down of light cardio and stretch the muscles you’ve worked to relax and keep you muscles flexible. Each week, increase your workout time by a few minutes until you can work continuously for 30 minutes a session.
